Weaver sucks so bad he got France hurt on the throw over to first base.

You don’t scratch guys that late and just give them the day off. On ROOT they said left foot soreness.

You have to be really bad to make the A’s offense look this good. I don’t complain much about Servais, but no idea why he chose our worst reliever to start this game.

Gotta find a way to get 9 innings out of our bullpen on very short notice. Weaver is one of the few (only?) guys in the pen that could go 60-70 pitches.

Yup, you had to use him at some point in this game with such late notice on Kirby, might as well start with him and see if you end up needing to close the game out with a position player pitching

Yeah I just looked and he’s the only guy with starting experience. Only other option would have been a bullpen game.

Weaver was a starter last yr. Campbell is a 1 inning guy. In the end, the offense failed.

Yeah we are definitely going to need JK. At this point Marlowe looks like more of a pinch runner and a late game defensive replacement type of guy.

Props to Cade though, he was a big part of the turnaround. But he has become the player most of us expected.
