Right now I think Brash is the safest bet. After that, not a whole lot to choose from. Topa was good but lately hasn’t been. Saucedo has been getting knocked around a lot the last month too.

And who knows what you get with Munoz, he is all over the place.

One positive is that when playoffs start (assuming we make it), Woo and Miller probably go to the bullpen.

My only hope for making the playoffs is that Texas is playing much worst than us.

If the M's or Rangers don't get it together pretty quickly, this could be yet another season that ends up being a pretty comfortable division win for the Astros.

Man it's amazing how quickly things change in baseball. A week ago the M's were the hottest team in baseball and had sustained that for 2 months. Now they've lost 5 of their last 7 games, everyone in that once elite bullpen is struggling, and we've seen several rough outings from our starting pitching.

Still firmly in contention for both the division and the playoffs, but things sure went from looking awfully rosy to quite concerning in no time.

That was a soul-crushing loss. Looking at the Rangers' and Jays' schedules the rest of the way - can't afford to lose games like this. I'm not even thinking division at this point.

Also, I don't want to see Leone pitch another inning. Liked him years ago but dude is terrible. Couldn't cut it with the Angels yet we're using him in games the M's need to win.
