Did y'all just see that Ohtani AB? 3-2 count and Ohtani whiffs on a pitch way inside that was never close to the zone.

Hitting is hard and even the best look incredibly foolish at times.
Hitting MLB pitches is the hardest thing to do in sports. This sport is extremely undermined even after all these years.

Got the win. Munoz got rest. Should see a similar line up tomorrow with another lefty on the mound. Suarez and Cal are hot. Marlow should find his way into the game later on. Lets gooo

Brash is a trip. Looked awful against the first 2 batters and then looked amazing against the next 3.

Hell of a nice win. Offense showed up big time.

Mariners are 7-1-1 in their last 9 series before this one and have now secured at least a split in this one.

But Servais is a clueless bumbling moron that isn't trying to win games. :ROFLMAO:

Wow, what a gutsy win. I'm kinda surprised they didn't figure out a way to lose it at the end.

Helluva game. Brash k'ing Ohtani on three pitches is an AB we'll remember for a while. Sho was the winning run at the time. (y)(y)

A little luck and some clutch hitting at the end of that game.

I like Kirby tomorrow. Could very well win the series tomorrow. We've always had the pitching, if we could just get blessed with a cadre of hot bats, they could close the playoff gap this month.

SS won't win me over until they get past the divisional round. Seems like Jerry and Scott listen to fan criticism though and that's a good thing.

He looked really bad on his last two strike outs. Yes hitting is very hard. Unlike other sports, the best in baseball can look awful. After his double it seemed like we made an effort to somewhat pitch around him.

Brash didn't pitch around him. Went after him with 2 sliders and finished him off with high heat. (y)
