Are you suggesting they had no other options at a closer? Scott even admitted it was his plan to use Ray in that situation before the game started. No one thought that was a good plan, especially against a team he struggled with.

Sewald collapsed or he would have been in. Hell the game would have been over. So you were left with Ray or Swanson. Yordan had better #s vs Swanson then Ray. Lets say you walk Yordan to face Bregman with Swansom. Thats bad as Bregman was like Babe Ruth vs RHP in Houston.

The game was lost when Munoz imploded. And sewald imploded.
