Time to make hay... 31 games left.

It's high time for the offense to pull their weight.

There are outliers every once in a while, but it usually takes 89+ wins to make the playoffs in the AL. M's are going to need to go 24-7 over the last 31 games to get to 89 wins (and as we all well know, 89 wins might not be enough). That's quite the tall task for a team with the 2nd worst record in baseball since June.

So, you say there's a chance.

Right now the best team in the mlb is only on pace for 94 wins. There isn’t any great team this year.

We’re in if we win our division aren’t we?
Yes, and we're actually in better shape to win that than to score a wild card berth. Just picked up a full game on the 'Stros tonight so we're just 3.5 back with about 30 games to play. If we can do what we did tonight over the next month, I think they'll do it.

Yeah, Wild Card isn't gonna' happen, imo. Just too many teams above us. And the M's are barely above .500. A long way to go, but at least they are still in the mix.
I still don't think they make the playoffs but damn it would be fun to be wrong.

Oh yea. 5.5 back in wc so easiest is AL West. I do think 86 wins will win AL west. So Ms would need 19-11 Record. Very tough. Houston series 2nd to last series i thinkbwill decide it.

Damn, Dan Wilson lost the game. Bad Pen Moves.

See how dumb that sounds? Players need to execute.

Yeah, that's why nobody is saying it. Clearly you did not understand the point in any of the responses to you in the other thread I even predicted what you would say lol. Not all games are created equal. Dan didn't lose this game correct, nobody is saying he did. It was a good time to pull the starter. Right now in the BP nobody is pitching well. He chose Char and it blew up. Sucks.

Same thing Servais was dealing with.
Yup and I didn't really hear much of anyone criticize any of the ex-coaches about the BP not being sharp lately. They've been good most of the year the only thing I heard coach wise about the BP was using Munoz in the 7th or 8th instead of the 9th.
