All wrong. They were on life support after Harvin's return but the looks on the face of the Bronco's faces when we answered their score said it all.

When Kam hit D Thomas I turned to my wife and said this thing is over.

I think his bell got rung with the "Lord have mercy, it's Percy" run back. Manning has all the confidence in the world and so does the Donks in his ability to come back. He has done it so many times. But he knew it was over then because the Hawk defense was just no breaking.

The early big hits by Bam Bam that obliterated their game plan for the quick hitters and YAC. That was their game plan. Take it away and what do you have? Being Manning, spending 2 weeks installing the game plan (albeit a game plan that hadn't changed much of the year) and it's gone in a couple drives? Game over.
I would say Kamtrak's first hit on Thomas on the second drive was the shot that severely wounded them, the kill shot was the constant pressure and Malcom's pick 6, the extra bullet to make sure they were dead was the Harvin return for the TD.

I voted for Harvin's return, but I think we may have broken Manning's will more than once.
Kam Chancellor's hit might have been the single most important play of the game. I don't think it had any effect on Manning's will, but it certainly showed that their offense had nothing for us.
The pick six likely broke Manning's will in the first half. He had now thrown two interceptions and, as was said earlier, his most successful drive had just ended in disaster.
I have a feeling that the coaches and coordinators had a lot of things to show the team as they went into halftime down 22-0.
I'm pretty sure they all found a way to be confident coming out for the second half, Manning included.
Harvin's return snatched the heart right out of each of their chests.
