It does worry me but we got Grubb because we got MM so late in the cycle that most coaching jobs were filled.

At least now we know what offensive identity works for us and MM has familiarity with offensive coaches in the current system.

I had this thought as well, the whole reason we ended up with Grubb is because it was so late in the cycle.

Then I remembered that we hired Grubb on Feb 9th, so we are even later in the cycle this year.

At least coach will be able to allot more time to the search this time around.

A Lombardi buys a lot of trust in my book. John and Mike earned it. Going to be a relaxing offseason in my mind. The ONLY thing that could wrinkle things is an ownership change but even then I trust Jodi to do right by the city and the team.

Very true, and hoping this will also contribute to our success. Still we technically couldn't reach out to candidates until after the bowl, after everyone else had their chance. Cost of success, and one of the things that makes parity in the NFL real.
