How can they still have cap room for him ? Will they carry $200 million in dead cap money in 2028 from all reworked deals ? Geez

I just don't think ADonald will be able to handle being second best. He always took the spot where he thought he had the easiest OL. He could take a break and come in on long 3rd downs. He could line up anyone he wanted anywhere to give himself an advantage. Now MGarrett will be telling him where to go. ADonald will be rushing on 1st and 2nd to set up MGarrett on 3rd. He'll need to play a supporting role. I may be wrong, but I just don't see that being a situation that plays out all season in a great way. Maybe early on, but by the time the Seahawks meet the Rams, it's going to be 2 bull elk in rut.

Not buying that logic. Who cares what stadium it is if you get a chance to play in the big game? Also, not like the Rams had a crappy d-line last year. I know I'm in the minority but I would take cash bets that he never comes back.
He does, it's home, the Rams beefed up their secondary to make his job easier as well, the stars are aligning for all in. Stafford, Donald, both would love going away as Champions.

Secondly I am sure Stan Kroenke is saying we must not let the Seahawks do what they did in Santa Clara, if there is a way we have to do it.

I'm really curious what donald has been doing for the past year+. If he's planning to come back, he certainly isn't hurrying to join the team for OTAs. If he's been catching up on his Netflix binge watching, I'm not too concerned about him coming back. It might even be a positive for us, if they have to release some depth to accommodate his contract.

he's 35 and relied on his athleticism and hasn't played for two years. I read where guys who do well at this stage tend to be strength guys as that trait stays longer. I doubt he's anywhere near the same player so I'm not worried. He is a unicorn though so I'm completely open to being entirely wrong on this lol.
