How bad was that Milroe option play

Zero chance of Milroe making it … JS forgot that QB’s need to know how to throw. A 3rd round pick down the toilet.
We could've had Tate Rutledge instead... Would've been a nice replacement for Bradford or whomever played at right guard.

Not-so-Hot-Take : I bet if they still wanted Milroe after drafting Tate (for example), he would've still been available in the 5th round. 🤷‍♂️

I don't think so. No matter what one feels about round value (e.g., he's a fifth round talent), QB's get overdrafted at least by 1-2 rounds because of the position importance.

Hmm...I think you may be right about that.

Bad teams are usually very desperate to get a QB....ANY QB...in the draft. 😂

Even though Pete would almost certainly not have drafted him, imagine him in Vegas now. The Vegas crowd would almost certainly get behind a rookie making mistakes and throwing picks instead of a washed-up, overpriced vet throwing picks.

Such an absurd thread.

Six pages of obsessing over a singular play from one game of a 17 game season.

Ridiculous.
I mean...it resulted in a fumble which resulted in 7 points scored by the Bucs which ultimately ended in a 3-point Bucs win in the end so why not discuss it since it played a part in the Hawks not being 4-1?

Inference built on inference built on an inference triggered by an "on the field outcome" can lead to a multitude of erroneous perceptions. Commercial Television is a pure stimuli and response engine. Inspired, in part, by psychology 201 animal studies and such.

The game day forum is a record of triggered responses to televised stimuli.

That triggered responses bleed so readily into the main forum and grow into extreme obsessions is disappointing.

Limited interest in the students of the game forum speaks loudly about forum focus.

In such an environment of limited understanding, posters often react by attacking players, coaches, scouts and officials.

Simultaneously, other posters are at liberty to point out the absurdity of misplaced obsessions.

The viewing prerequisite is knowing ........ what the purpose of television programing is and what television programing isn't.

Yeah I’d be inclined to just keep Milroe on the bench from now on. Sucks cause he takes up a valuable roster spot. That play along with Myers missed short field goal and the fumbles cost us the game.
