I don't think Murray was the reason folks expected the Cards to be much improved this year. They had a great draft class again. They began the year strong but couldn't sustain once injuries depleted their ranks.
The Niners have done an incredible job of circling their wagons and have remained more competitive than I guessed they could. But I am biased against them anyway these days.
