The fact that they can still have a shot at WC if they win this series is insane. But this is absolute, 100% must win territory against the team we're chasing for the last spot.

Tonight, they flat out HAVE TO win. Period. One game at a time.
Also, they have won the last 10 starts by Castillo. At least that's what they said on 710 today.

Castillo not sharp early against Verlander, might already be game over in the 2nd inning. 3-0 cheaters.

Really needed Castillo to step up and pitch like the ace he is tonight, but that's not happening so far. Can't be throwing fastballs down the middle of the plate to Altuve (or anyone else in the Astros lineup for that matter).

If they didn't learn their lesson after last off season, and once again don't add some bats in the off season, scratching and clawing for that 3rd WC is probably just about this teams ceiling.

The Mariners only have 3 players on their entire roster hitting over .260, and only 1 hitting over .265.

This team needs better players. Period.
