Agree to disagree - I’d take Milroe over Shadeur in our operation and for our culture. From the shoulders up he’s at least a grown up with a work ethic. I’m not sure Shadeur will be able to overcome his bone headed antics off the field and the shadow of his father.

I haven't seen enough of Milroe to make any judgement either way....I mean one play from Sunday doesn't dictate whether I think he sucks or not. Our coaches saw enough to make the call to draft him, so the potential has to be there.

If there's any consolation, our quarterback situation COULD be worse. We could be the league-wide punchline that's suffocating under Ge-blow's Ge-bloated contract, or we could still be dealing with Me3's diva bullcrap. Me3, who the Giants thought would be an UPGRADE over the current MVP frontrunner that they cut, is so bad that he can't even Ge-throw red zone interceptions because he'd rather just chuck them into the tunnel on fourth down while waving goodbye to his already-fleeting HOF chances. But at least the cameras were on him, and that's all that matters. Sherm was right. Not as right as me, Rat, but he was right. Yes, Milroe unequivocally is an historic bust, but it could be worse. And again, let's not lose sight of the fact that I was right.

They need to scrap the Milroe plays for the rest of the season. let him sit and develop as was intended for this year, probably next. Hell, how many people said about Darnold what you said about Milroe even after his first 3 stops in the NFL, let alone his first 3 plays?

According to the Times this morning, Coach Mack is not benching Milroe this season and they have "lots" of plays dialed up for him.

Don't shoot the messenger, but I wonder if we had designated Milroe as QB#3 and had an extra DB available would things might have gone differently.

Shadeur learning behind Stafford for a year would be scary for the rest of the league. Drafting him for the Niners would have been pointless because they already have the best QB in the division, if not the entire conference.
