Out of all the guys it's probably Cal who has grown the most. Julio was good from the get go. Cal we've seen a lot of progress.
He started the season by getting sent down! :) He's another target for a long term deal.

Great game. Had to overcome some awful calls by the home plate ump.

Logan looks sharp, feel confident about him going forward.

Cal is so clutch. He is the next guy we need to lock up. Has a chance to be the best catcher in baseball.

I figure today will go one of two ways.

  1. Hangover - at least an emotional one, and they tank.
  2. Loosey goosey - the 21 year monkey off their back, they play loose and easy and curb stomp the A's.
Whattya think?

Hadn't seen the lineup card yet. Not a bad idea, I guess, to have a rest day.

Apparently, Servais wants to get the bullpen some work. Castillo was cruisin' through 6 and could have easily done the 7th, maybe the 8th.
