Turner having a positive effect on the M's batting -- very interesting.

Maybe there's a reason he "just happens" to have been on multiple World Series teams (not to mention the 2004 college world series).

Wonder if he'll also teach Servais when to intentionally walk an opposing team's hot hitter.

Turner said this to a reporter after yesterday's game, but I'll be damned if it isn't also a memo for some of the other hitters:

...I just think that when you get in those situations, I've learned that you don't try to do too much and take what they give you and have small goals -- and sometimes big things happen.

Is it not kind of weird that the team is hitting so well without JRod?
I think Robles is the perfect leadoff man, he reminds me of Dexter
Fowler during the Cubs WS year.
I mean not really. They added better players. Julio was killing it the last 15 games. Seems weird to act like he was the reason.

Do people look at stats in here or just form a opinion? Im seriously wondering.

Robles thanked our director of hitting strategy that changed him for the better.

Julio has been killing it the past 15 plus games.

Weird you add better players and it helps the offense.

Damn, Does Scotty get credit? Or just when he loses?
Jerry and Tom made the deadline moves that (so far) has created a spark in the offense. And uhh, it was just a few days ago the coaching staff LOST them a game in Boston.

Bryce Harper fouls off 6 straight 96mph four seams from Miller then hits a double on a curve. Silly. You can't coach that you're either born with that level hand eye coordination or not.

Bro you dont like Scott. You blame him for losses and pat the players for the wins. So, honestly your take is hella biased. Which is fine. Its your right.

I was patting Jerry and Tom for doing something even though they should have in the off season.

Managers don't win games, they lose them.

Your looking at it the wrong way, I never said he was the reason but rather
since they don't have him.

False. 90% is players executing. 10% on Manager.

So Lou sucked then huh? 🤔🤔🤔

Little help from the ump on that last Hanny AB but I'll take it. However it happens, a win is a win. Alone in first place again with the 'Stros loss.

Back to winning series again, especially at home. OK, they're (Philly) in a slump but we're out two of our best players, so I'll take beating the best of the NL two games and a possible sweep tomorrow.
