Man two tough losses in a row. The pen isn’t good enough IMO. I like Brash and Munoz but they are going to get overworked and when they do struggle we don’t have anyone to pivot to. Really miss our boy Sewald.

I know, I know...it sounds like 20/20 hindsight, split milk, whatever idiom you want to assert, but we DID trade away our closer at the deadline. That's painfully obvious the last few games.

Royals are a better hitting team than the Ms. They showed it tonight. Beautiful small ball there at the end of the game. That's how they went to back to back world series not that long ago. Their pitching sucks this year that's the reason for their record. KC is known for putting the ball in play and being scrappy.

The Sewald trade has been neutral. Candzone and Rojas have come up clutch the past 2 nights but now we don't have a true closer. The reality is don't let the records fool you. KC is not a bad baseball team compared to the Ms.

Another tough loss, especially the way it played out. Better luck tomorrow.

Trading away our closer is starting to look worse and worse. Doesn't look like we have anyone capable of taking over that very critical roll. Very well could be the difference between making the playoffs or not making the playoffs.

Yup. Until we get ahead of the Blue Jays and put a little distance between us and them, the grumblings are going to keep resurfacing. But I do think it's a positive thing to have a fan base that expects the team, from ownership down to the players, to show a real year-round commitment to winning. Mistakes are always going to be made, decisions are always going to be second-guessed, but when fans are dropping their hard earned money on tickets and team paraphernalia and pricey hot dogs and beer, they should expect to see that commitment from the top down. It's a good thing.

Back to back HR’s for Geno and France. Blue Jays tied.

M's are absolutely mashing in the 4th. 7 runs in so far, still just 1 out.

Well we don’t have to worry about the pen blowing the lead today.

SS finally got a clue and started Cabby today. He was missing the last 3 games. (Why would he bench a top 3 guy in OBP and WAR when JP is on the IL?) Lol....dumb.

Rojas is hot. Let's go.

Probably because he was playing Moore instead who has drastically better numbers over the past 6 weeks or so.

What an absolutely bizarre thing to criticize.

But you never would have played Rojas, you’ve stated that many times in the past. Guy is one of our hottest hitters. It’s really easy to second guess.
