I hope I'm wrong but I think he's cooked and I hated the signing. I also still like the Jamal Adams deal so there's that too.

Correct. Not saying he doesn’t have the arm strength to literally get the ball to him, I’m just not convinced he’ll be able to do so reliably and consistently. The O line is still iffy until proven otherwise.
okay, that's fair.

Believe it when you see it, is the name of the game here.

Well hopefully we see it.

You're being pissy. Every team makes value judgments based on injury history.

Not trying to be pissy at all. I don't disagree with your post above. Just saying there is always a risk of injury with any player, so making the the statement "not if he is on IR" is true for every player in the NFL, and goes without saying.

I am excited to see Kupp and JSN together. As a combo, they are going to be hard to defend, they both will get good separation against 1-on-1 coverage.

But it will take some luck to have him healthy for a full season.

Best 1 - 2 punch, bar none.

This is a prime example of someone speaking their mind without doing the research. No mention of how we can get out of the contract. No mention of the fact this first year he is on the cheap for us or the fact he intentionally took less his first year so that he could get money from San Fran. Hard to read articles when you do that.

I can’t understand why more Seahawks fans are not excited about this prospect. Both these guys are super route runners and 3rd down chain movers. The Seahawks are going to have a ball control offense with LONG TD drives. Am I missing something here?

I'm pumped. We then have MVS, Arroyo, Horton attacking the seams. And complementing all this, we have a true stable of young running backs with a huge new fullback to boot. This team has become fun to speculate about.

I'd like to say why, but I think I'm pissed off enough people at this point :)

Jury is out on him. He definitely has not been the same the last few years. I know a lot of folks on this board have high hopes for the team next year, but the offense is definitely a huge question mark with all the new pieces.
I don't disagree, I have way more concern over the offense than the defense but to say Kupp has not been the same the last few years doesn't acknowledge that he's had some injury issues. Had he been healthy his production numbers would likely have been better. You could also say that his being injury prone for the last 3 seasons is in itself cause for concern and I would agree (most of it seems to be ankle related).

What are we getting with this guy is a valid question.

Which is why I was hoping JS was going to target a WR earlier in the draft or in FA. There's still time to bring in a legitimate starter like Keenan Allen or Amari Cooper.

Good luck with that. If you have a suspect O-Line, a QB who gets rattled in the pocket, or if you don't have a home run receiving threat you'll struggle to score quick TDs. When any of that happens opposing defenses push closer to the LOS and the underneath offense also disappears. The Seahawks potentially have all 3 negative traits. I'm not convinced by the Seahawks offensive depth either. If everyone plays to their potential and avoids injuries then everything will be fine. As I said, good luck.
