Yep, big fan of DK, but if dude consistently asked to be traded, what else can you do?

I wish we could have kept Lockett for the $4mil Tennessee signed him for but if he wanted a change I understand.

It's not even that he wanted a change, it's that he had absolutely no reason to take a pay cut unless forced. On the other side, there is no way the Hawks were going to pay him out the rest of his contract. Once the decision to move on happened, Seahawks made other plans and trying to coax Lockett back wasn't one of them.

My point being, Kupp, Arroyo and Horton are basically unknown commodities at this point, it would have been nice to get a known commodity like Keenan Allen in the receiver room to go along with JSN.

What's Kupp if not a known commodity? If injury is the concern, Keenan Allen has a worse history than Kupp.

MVS is on his 4th team in 20 games. He's on a 1 year contract for $4M, (which is similar to what Lockett is getting). He is not a key component to a successful offense.

I agree. All we need him to do is use his speed to open up holes in the zones for the other two. That’s about all we should expect, plus hit him on deep shot occasionally.

Maybe for the Seahawks but I think DA is going to have a monster year for the Rams. Davante has not had the injury history of Kupp either. I think this DA signing is going to be the equivalent of the Saquon Barkley signing of last year. I just think of that offense with Nacua and Stafford delivering the ball is going to be big.

You might be right, but the comparison to Barkley isn't the most apt one. Barkley is 27 and at the top of his game. The only similarity is that, like Barkley, Adams is going from a bad team to a good team.

I do agree that Adams had solid stats last year. He still caught 85 passes for over a 1000 yards. But he will be 33 next year, and age really catches up with receivers right around that time. So many receivers have fallen off the cliff at that age.

If Adams continues to be great next year, he'll be the exception. (And I agree the same goes for Kupp.)

Lockett was willing to take $4mil to play in Tennessee, I would have been willing to pay that for him to stay here.

Kupp has had 3 years of lower production due to injury issues. We have no idea what he might do this year. I could be more of the same or he could ball out. Allen is only 1 year removed from a 1200 yard season whereas Kupp is 3 seasons removed from a 1900 yard season. Allen has gone over 1000 yards 6 times in his career, Kupp only 2 times.

He absolutely is, I don't know what some people saw in Tyler the last
couple of years.
I saw a WR that was cooked compared to what he once was, it happens.

I'm happy both DK and Tyler are gone, I'm a hard fan to please and not
attached to them, if you're performing to your ability, it's time to go.

Adams is a great example of my point actually. He was the epitome of health until he wasn't.
