Yep, big fan of DK, but if dude consistently asked to be traded, what else can you do?
I wish we could have kept Lockett for the $4mil Tennessee signed him for but if he wanted a change I understand.
It's not even that he wanted a change, it's that he had absolutely no reason to take a pay cut unless forced. On the other side, there is no way the Hawks were going to pay him out the rest of his contract. Once the decision to move on happened, Seahawks made other plans and trying to coax Lockett back wasn't one of them.
My point being, Kupp, Arroyo and Horton are basically unknown commodities at this point, it would have been nice to get a known commodity like Keenan Allen in the receiver room to go along with JSN.
What's Kupp if not a known commodity? If injury is the concern, Keenan Allen has a worse history than Kupp.
