I’ve been saturating myself with Kupp interviews ever since he became a Seahawk and two thoughts come to mind:

One, I wish he would have been drafted by the Seahawks. I wish he would have never played for a putrid divisional rival all those years. Happy for his personal success but it should have always been wearing the blue and green.

Two, he’s my favorite kind of human. Incredibly humble, kind. Regardless of personal achievements and accolades, he remains neutral, doesn’t get caught up in the media hype. We are talking about a former Super Bowl MVP and he acts like a rookie grateful for the opportunity.

Reminds me very much of some guy who used to wear 80 for us.

Here’s to him having a great injury free year and making the Rams regret letting him go.

*Cheers* to those thoughts. I've got my fingers crossed for his good health. With good health he's the kind of guy who can still be an effective and productive receiver for us in his 30's. He knows how to play the game, how to maximize what he's got. That much is pretty obvious. Great team culture guy. I could see him being a coach someday.

Certainly interesting wide receiver room. IDK who is gonna have what stats. Short passing, run game oriented offense. Kupp is a good interview.

Nice to finally be able to cheer for the guy. I watched him torch my teams for far too long, first at EWU, then in LA, and was definitely rooting for the Hawks to draft him.

In our, mostly un-memorable, 2017 draft, we took Malik McDowell and Ethan Pocic before the Rams took Kupp at 69.

I’m looking forward to the face off with the receiver less Niners, and I hope he can find the kind of success against them, that seems to have eluded him so far.

Prior to their last matchup, he was 0-8 in the regular season against them, and last year he was held to no catches and no yards in his late season victory over them.

Let’s see Kupp torch these guys for a win!

Dude, I was kicking the TV during the 2nd round of the 2017 draft for the Hawks to take Kupp with one of their 2 picks....instead it was McDowell (biggest bust since Curry) and Pocic. Ugh...

He's such and Eastern Washington guy, and yes that really is a thing. Yakima is a big small town to begin with, and growing up over here just frames your personality, manners of speaking and how you carry yourself in small, unique and immutable ways. And I agree, there are several unmistakable similarities to old what's his name who once wore #80. Really jazzed about Coop this season, I'll have my eye on him more than anyone else.

I'm cautiously optimistic about Cooper Kupp. He'll be solid if he stays healthy. Last year, he only played in 12 games, but still had 67 receptions/710 yards. That's equivalent to 95 catches/1005 yards if he plays the whole season. That doesn't look like someone whose skills have diminished.

Of course, he's 32, which is the age when a lot of wide receivers fall off the cliff. But I'd rather pay Kupp $15 million per year than pay Davante Adams (who turns 33 this year) $23 million per year like the Rams are doing.

Wasn't McDowell the one who concussed himself retarded in an ATV crash?

What are the overall thoughts on Kupp up to this point? It amazes me how a guy can be so dominant a few years ago and now he's pretty much a ghost. I haven't spent much time evaluating him, but did his injury pretty much eliminate his separation he used to have with the Rams?
