Could be that he learned his lesson, and will play hard in his one-year deal to get a solid payday. The Seahawks did the right thing letting him go, but that doesn't mean he is unrecoverable.
This is what I expect. I’ve read that Philly is happy with him thus far.

He has the talent. But, when/if he gets that multi-year contract, I’d expect shenanigans again.

Ok. I’m ready.

I would actually like to have Woolen back on the same one year deal as Philly. I thought he was going to be overpaid by someone on a long term deal which would have been hilarious. But one year ‘prove it” for 15? I think his athleticism is worth that. I know I’m in the minority, but am cool with it.

Two interceptions in the 4th quarter isn't containing him? Sure he got 129 yards passing and two TDs, but they were down 19 and 22 points on the two TD drives.
When the Pats got within 12, between those two drives, the Hawks defense clamped down and picked him off twice. Maybe they eased up a bit when they had the game well in hand?

They certainly didn't shut down Maye in the 4th quarter, but they just as certainly contained him.
Relying on the pity and mercy of a first year QB to take his foot off your throat and charitably give away his Super Bowl comeback is not a sustainable recipe for success.

The Pats had ZERO shot in that game. Total domination. Anyone who understands football knows that was an absolutely DOMINANT win. Score didn't come CLOSE to showing the story. 16-point win...............felt more like 30.
Excuse me for not being impressed with a garbage time TD when the defense is CLEARLY making them use up the clock.

Also.........they just WON THE FRICKEN SUPER BOWL. How is that not a "recipe" for success?

Holy Rat take.

Go Hawks

Speaking of whom, I'm beginning to wonder if that isn't Rat's alt account or something....

And when Birds posts, you don't see Rat around.

For a second, I thought he was being marginally serious, then I looked at his last 20 or 30 posts, and it's obvious he is just trolling the board.

He had one decent quarter when the Hawks were playing prevent. A decent quarter that had TWO picks.
They had like 70 yards at the half. In no world did Drake Maye have a good game. He got owned. He saw all the ghosts. Each of them. Coach Side Piece had to ask him if he wanted to stay in the game. Yeah, he was THAT dominated.
The consensus by basically every mediot and former player was that it was one of the most dominant performances by a defense in SB History. PERIOD.
If Sam doesn't rush a couple throws, they win by 30+, easily. He has even said so himself that he wasn't happy with how he played, other than no turnovers. Pats were extremely lucky he missed a couple to Sheed and another to JSN that was a walk in.
Not trying to argue, but how in the hell could anyone come out of that SB not knowing that the Hawks absolutely took them to the shed?
And Drake Maye isn't just some scrub. He just ran into the best defense in football. His TD against......REEK was a hell of a throw.

I joke around about how unless the team wins by 5 touchdowns, a select few won't be happy.
Sometimes.......it feels pretty accurate.
They are SB Champions. They completely dominated the game. They won 17 games last year. And it somehow isn't good enough because a QB, who put up a ton of yards last season, actually got some stats during garbage time.

I will NEVER understand the flat-out obsession with winning having to look a certain way. Win by 1, win by 30.......just WIN.

That will answer any question you might have as to the seriousness of his stance.
