I ain't giving up on Lock yet, not after John Schneider signed him not once but twice. Schneider must see something in Lock that we couldn't. Pete/Geno hampered Lock's first employment with the Hawks; this time, he will shine.
You have the funniest begrudging style of fan loyalty. The line between sarcasm and devotion is so expertly navigated…

It will be interesting to see whether Lock gets more playing time than Milroe. Do you want that?

What I do know? I want the best QB to enjoy more playing time.

What I don't know? Who is the best among Darnold, Lock or Milroe.

I'd be perfectly fine with that. Milroe is a project, if the coaching staff thinks the best move is to let him sit and develop all season I will trust their judgement.

He will learn more playing on the field than sitting on the bench.

Darnold will have to get injured or crap the bed for Lock to get much playing time.

Depends. With the tools and techniques they are currently employing he could make some major strides off the field as well. Obviously on the field experience is tantamount, but you also don't want to rush him. We've seen so many QBs over the years crash and burn and never recover.

Don't disagree with that.

I just want a few situational designed packages for Milroe where he can do run-pass option in short yardage situation. I have a hunch that could be very effective.

With Ouzts out there, they can run a little Alabama package.

Darnold wouldn't have to be terrible. If the offense struggles badly and Darnold doesn't look like a top 16 QB the Seahawks could release him sometime around Week 13. That would prevent an injury from guaranteeing his $27.5M salary next season. The Giants had a similar dilemma with Jones in 2024.
