He's in the best possible situation a rookie QB could ask for. I don't see this staff throwing him to the wolves anytime soon. Let him build his confidence through repetition at practice, and by watching Two dudes that had to grind to earn their place.

This is why Seattle is a tip tier franchise. $#!+ teams would have him penned in as the starter after seeing how fast he is.

Imagine the trajectory of Anthony Richardson if he made it to Seattle on that draft day

I can think of a couple of teams that might immediately pick Milroe up:

--Steelers
--Dolphins

...some others that might be interested:

--Jets
--Colts
--Raiders

...and perhaps a few other possibilities.

Unfortunately Richardson gets hurt all the time. So not sure if sitting would have ended up helping anything. Even today he looked to hurt his hand. Guy seems to be made of glass

I suggested that earlier and got the same response. Probably will have to keep him on the 53, even though that creates some tough decisions in other areas, like RB and WR, not to mention DBs and DL.
It's not unreasonable to keep 3 QBs on the 53-man roster. 13 teams did that last year. With the more liberal practice squad call-up rules, it's easier to stash special teams players and other backups, while keeping valuable commodities on your roster. So come game day, you call up the player you need and don't activate your third QB for the game.

Milroe is more gifted than Wilson, taller (6'2" vs 5'10"), faster (4.37 vs 4.55), much stronger arm (ball velocity 70+ mph vs 55mph).
Wilson was far more gifted at passing the football. Unless Milroe can become a consistently accurate passer his other virtues won’t save him.

Start Milroe now!

I'm excited about Milroe too, but Lock's 2 TD passes vs. Chiefs show the development Milroe needs.
Milroe missed a fade for a TD and a back shoulder for a TD.
Lock hit a fade to Bobo with a beautifully placed throw for a TD.
Lock placed the screen to Bobo perfectly to set Bobo up to run it in for a TD.

Milroe needs a couple years of seasoning to get to where he needs to be on throws like those.

To a man I would say the beauty of this offense is the the amount of extra blocking from TE and Fb positions. It dumbs it down for any qb.

It is amazing haw rapidly a QB becomes better when surrounded by higher level teammates. Just saying...
Milroe is visibly improving almost daily. Look at the stats from Friday's game. Add all 3 QB stats together and tell me what you see from all three combined. None of our three QBs had a bad day. But I will bet that had they all played with forth string partners there would have been a lot more incompletions and maybe some picks to add to the statlines.
