Not sure if Malik worked out for GB...Rodgers on the other had...
He was a phenomenal backup for them. He had only two years on his deal when they traded for him, so they couldn't flip him for anything, but I'd say he was well worth the late seventh round pick they traded.

Understood...to clarify, I was inferring that he didn't become their starter or get much value from the trade.

I thought the poster was referncing Rodgers, who sat the pine for 3 years and then became one of the most productive QB's in his era. Could be wrong though.

If he doesn't show any signs of improvement after this season, cut him loose and try again with another mid/late pick. Projects are great, but they need to realize their potential at some point.

How does he even matter yet, really not eve worth a discussion, he was picked to learn how to be an NFL QB, Class is still in session. God I wish we could get going with the season, next we will talking about trading Darnold for draft picks next year.
