Milroe sucks. I've watched him in College. He's a one read Alabama QB. His last season was 16 TDs and 11 interceptions with a stacked room. He should be elevating his players and even coaches. He did not and failed too. I have no hope. At this point, I'd rather taken a flier on Shadeur, at least he feels the "type" of QB we have with Sam Darnold. Pocket Passer who cant run nor anticipate throws.

Should've spent the pick somewhere else even if its a homerun pick.

People keep trying to compare him to Lamar Jackson coming out of Louisville (because of our head coach coming from Baltimore) but Lamar Jackson was actually great at throwing the ball. What a waste of a draft pick.

Like I said in the main thread. I don’t mind picks like this. Yes they can go either way, but can’t any? He’s got the natural ingredients to become a very capable QB, and there’s work to be done to get him there….. but if he’s coachable and can develop his game, it could be a good pick.
Yes . And they aren't under a deadline to make him QB1.
If he's coachable and has the desire to learn, why not?

Just before my time? I'm a 2012 register and watched football befoore that. You didnt watch a lick of college football if you actually believe the Lamar stuff. I provided evidence how he carried Louisville and was provided with a Heisman. YOU didn't do a rebuttal. People were surprised he dropped because people thought he was a "running qb" (your words) to Baltimore at the end of the first round. I suggest you REWATCH that NFL draft. You didnt even watch that draft you just googled and listened to other pundits.

People were not surprised at all at Milroe getting picked at third

Disgraceful quit insulting others by saying "before your time".
You sound like a bit of a knowall, that you obviously are not.

I’m a know all. Wanna try me? - the chick from white zombie

(Actually she said, I never try anything, I just do it. Wanna try me?)

Wow! I turned this on and my 7 month old daughter starts headbanging and clapping…. What have I created!??

Wow I’m so far off track… but dang I started listening to that song then saw on the google that that line from the chick in the song is a voiceover from a movie called faster pussycat made in ….. 1965

Milroe is 22 years old and won't be 23 until December, I for one am excited to watch his development over the next two years. Raised in a military family he is well structured, grounded & hard working and has the humility and positive outlook to gravitate towards success.
I would 1000 times rather have Jalen Milroe over Bryce Young.
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Especially when that gift horse is a young thoroughbred.

Remember when Hugh said he would eat his Mike if Wilson started for Seattle? Seems like people are making the same type of statements with Milroe here.

And for all the pointing out of his stats from last year, we all saw how good that offense worked vs DC who had the athletes to stop it. And an off season to prepare. UGA figured it out after the first half of the UGA- Bama game, and the rest of the sec copied their D. Will be interesting to see if DeBore can get it going this year.

I am an advocate to start Milroe now, just sayin'.

I am as excited as anyone to see Milroe take over this franchise. The blueprint for a Ravens West model is clearly in place - but I think people are going to be really surprised to see how well Darnold will thrive in a Kubiak offense if he has protection. Darnold is the now. Milroe is the future. It can be both things.

To those who don't give him a chance I imagine you haven't learned a thing since you graduated from school. Because that is what you are saying about him.

This is a stupid counter-argument.

Franchise quarterbacks are less than 1% of the crop that grows out there, and people are comparing him to Russell Wilson (who won one Super Bowl) and Lamar Jackson (who hasn't won any) despite both being far more polished passers when they were drafted than Milroe is right now.

Some of us just know what trajectory is needed to seriously anticipate greatness from a prospect. Milroe seems to be a consummate professional and a grown man and I certainly respect him for that, but I've got every reason to assume bust until proven otherwise. I do that for 99.8% of quarterbacks.

So........... is this how you evaluate Lamar Jackson as well.. disregard all his other stats? He passed for 2500 yards, 64 percent completion rating .... oh damn I forgot 750 rushing yards and 20.... get that 20 rushing TDs

You sound like the typical Alabama hater.. you didn't watch him in college at all to even remotely make this assessment..... its almost laughable

Guess how Jalen did in Bamas system.. because its designed a certain way? Look at him now. This WAS satire right?
