For me, this subject is simple: Which of the current QBs would you immediately replace Wilson with, a straight-across trade, if any QB was fair game?
That requires a lot of knowledge, not just of QB "talent" in general, but leadership, unique traits, and intangibles ("clutch" factor, etc). Then you need to know the team: the coaches, game-plan tendencies/philosophy, location (dome/outdoors), ethos and history, and surrounding player-cast. It all matters.
I cannot think of one QB I'd rather have than Russ. That means he's the best QB for the current Seahawk team. That doesn't mean other QBs won't have better stats in places, but I love the fact that we don't have a QB controversy because the position is phenomenally manned already.
