Too bad. Missed opportunity right there.

Still have a 4 run lead though and the Blue Jays are down to 6 outs.

Damn, wasted opportunity. Oh well, let's hope Mariners hold.

Was that on purpose? I don't know... Either way I'm glad it happened. You can not let them hit Julio TWICE and not pay a price for it. Julio could easily be getting x-rays right now with a broken hand/wrist...

Yeah that showed how badly we need to upgrade corner OF and DH.

Was random so don't think it was retaliation

Absolutely no way in hell that was on purpose. Look at the game situation. They are trying to get outs and win the game right now. Not trying to get revenge for hitting Julio.

What a great game on the mound for the m's today. Those blue jays players have to be shellshocked after that abuse by Castillo and Munoz.

The pit
Castillo flat out dominated! Munoz shuts the door, and the bats just caused enough damage.

I loved how they jumped on a great pitcher early.

To shut out THAT offense is pretty incredible.
Great win!

Great game. I actually prefer this team on the road. They hit better on the road and feels like less pressure not being in front of our fans.

This game was evidence that pitching wins playoff games.

Reminded me a little bit of our SB win against Denver. I expected a close and stressful game, and it was one of the easier wins I can think of. Game was never in doubt.

Magnificent performance by Castillo and Munoz. We needed this game 1 victory badly as Robbie Ray has been extremely shaky lately, particularly in the early innings. I can't help but think we'll be playing from behind tomorrow (and we're certainly a different team when that occurs).

Let's go M's!

That was such a fun game to watch. Absolutely brutalized the hapless Jays.

Game 2 on Sat at 1:07 pm PDT

Probables R. Ray (12-12, 3.71 ERA) vs K. Gausman (12-10, 3.35 ERA)

A chance to win it all and advance to Houston.
