Luis Arraez is a 2B who won the AL batting title last year & was traded to Miami over the off-season, he just happens to be hitting .427 with 35 hits to only FIVE K's. DiBozo the always tells us how much he loves trades only, he could've traded for this guy, instead we have the horrendous Kolten Wong, for whom he gave up 2 worthless players for. What do you expect to get for scrubs like Winker & Toro? Sure would be nice to have acquired a REAL 2B & leadoff hitter, getting kinda tired of watching Julio strikeout in that position over & over & over. Jerry never learns.

Way too much hating on Dipoto going on in here. Most of the blame falls on Stanton. Dipoto can only do so much with a limited budget.

I expect the Mariners to make a move for a DH or 2B in the next month or so.

It's sad. The Mariners as a franchise are sad. Too many people making excuses for ownership, excuses for front office, excuses for the players & especially the overall blind allegiance & homer-ism for every player that is acquired. Every single guy on the roster is a great player, when clearly that isn't the case. As we speak, 2 more strikeouts to begin the game.

Every run via the HR today.... Typical. They can't score without the HR because that requires stringing together hits & walks, can't do that when your regular lineup has at least 4 guys who will finish the season with more K's than hits.
