I would bet if you put at least 20-25 of the other NFL teams out there in the same position as teh Hawks were with five minutes left in the third quarter (let alone the fourth), they fold like wet tissue.
I've watched games where I am totally neutral, and Ive seen each team get lucky bounces as well as be the benefactors of bad calls. Great teams play through that. Mediocre teams give up.
I know a lot of Seahawk fans who still say we were "robbed" in Superb Owl XL. Yes, a lot of awful calls went against Seattle, but if THAT team had half the will and courage as THIS team, they would have found a way to work through those setbacks and possible delivered Seattle its first Lombardi. Seriously, can you imagine how that game would have played out if it was this team in the same situation?
Great teams over come mistakes, make their own opportunities, never give up, and capitalize. That will alone seems to act as a magnet for lucky bounces and the opposing team making stupid mistakes.
This game was magical, but give our guys credit for making some of that magic.
