I wssnt making a statement that he should be 8th.

Its more that he is probably the only qb in the league that can be thought of so highly by some, and be welcomed to hit the road by others.

Most guys on dot net swing between these two:

Love to hate:
If Geno has a bad game or even a so so game. Guys are in full love-to-hate mode. Geno suddenly became that #25 - #27 ranked QB (drop from #25th or whatever) in the league and pulled the team back.

Hate to love:
If Geno has a good game, Guys will switch to hate-to-love mode. Noses pinched, a couple of praises through gritted teeth, but immediately followed with critiques on the few bad plays Geno made in the game.

I don't think anybody on dot.net hates Geno. It's the posts of other people gushing over him that sets some off. It's clearly evident he's capable of playing some really good football, but it's also clearly evident that he has times where he doesn't. Geno is a creature of habit and some don't want to accept that. When the gaffes in Geno's game occurs, some point it out to the others that anoit him as somebody he isn't. I'm guilty of it, but i'm just trying to tell people to slow the roll somewhat. All in all, he's played well and we're lucky to have had him due to the spot the team found themselves in, but he was never the real answer.
