I'm a little unsure about Cody Thompson as he may be out of opportunities to go up or come back to the 53 or to the PS w/o being signed to the 53 man roster or released.

This source might be considered to be unreliable at it shows 18 players on the PS one of which is QB- Jake Luton who was waived from the PS on Nov 15. Further I suspect the report could be incorrect unless there has been a rules change as WR- Cody Thompson is out of times he can be moved up to the 53 and back.

I found this Dec 15 article about practice squad changes for the postseason which seems to be more lenient that in season rules. I wonder if they quietly extended this to the remaining regular season too. Since many teams had issues with Covid and having to push games.

Thanks for the kind words HF68, I am just part of it, and what makes this thread work though are the contributions of other members. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up, the reliable and very speedy contributions of other members make it a whole lot more timely and easier.

Thanks for that link, that rule change has been very underpublicized. From what I see it just applies to the postseason.which makes Thompson’s situation quite curious. This causes me to wonder if the change is presently actually in force.

I guess we will find out soon,

We may need to sign 10 RB's next season the rate we lose them on this team.

The team certainly has had not much luck keeping RBs healthy over the past few seasons. Wonder if there is some conditioning issue that is being missed?

In the end though the roster churn continues and finding the guys to show up on game days is a steady business.

Disappointing for Collins who had worked himself to the #1 position only now to be replaced by Penny. Seems to me as well that Dallas got a bit nicked up last game as well.
