The bad drafting takes and the Geno takes have aged particularly poorly.
Which bad drafting takes? This should be good.

Geno? Ha. Literally no one got that right, and now he is regressing back to the mean.

And also, nothing has aged worse than thinking Geno is the man, with a Geno avatar, none the less.

Fade, when you write with Ego, it better be right most of the time. Your batting average isn’t good. I have nothing against you. You write as you know everything, not to actually have a conversation or thread.

The Rams have already played the Eagle, Cowboys, and Niners 1x.

The Seahawks haven't. These numbers are going to flip in a bout a month's time.

If they do, will you admit there is a problem?
Admit? I said the defense was a concern after the Browns game. And how I feel will depend on how those games shake out.

Then don't cite numbers if you know they are BS and won't hold up then.

It's intellectually dishonest.

If they are giving up numbers to Dobbs, PJ Walker, and Andy Dalton. You know it's about to get worse.

What?

The numbers are the numbers. They are not BS. So how is that "intellectually dishonest"? Please enlighten me.

I've been making proclamations on here for over a decade.

The funny thing is, people can only come up with a handful of things I got wrong,.if that.

My batting avg. is high. Otherwise you'd be able rattle off a couple dozen things. I've gotten wrong quite easily.

People just choose to NOT remember what I get right. And I don't point out everything I get right either. If you know, you know.

You're posting numbers to simply damage control, when you know they aren't going to hold up.

Meanwhile the Rams have already faced the tougher opponents that the Seahawks are bout to face.

That only further proves my point.

The Seahawks don't have that kind of dead money handicapping their roster.

The Seahawks defense should.be light years better. Seattle is spending more on the field in terms of dollars, and draft capital. Yet, they are negligible in terms of results.
You don't count cap space spent on defensive players who aren't even on the roster?

Point of interest on PPG allowed rankings: if the Seahawks were averaging 2.5 PPG allowed less right now they'd have a top 10 defense, apparently.

With the average they had before the last two weeks it would be ranked #8.

Damage control? For what? The defense?

I posted EPA because I thought it added context to the conversation. And if you want a prediction, I fully expect the Seahawks to have a better defense than the Rams at the end of the season. And if you take the time to read this thread, you'll see what my concerns are for the defense.

this stuff gets old. He is posting a take many don’t like and he gets killed for it while those doing it claim it’s all his fault. The guy disagrees with you and it’s ok, you don’t need to insult him. Ironically your post is guilty of what you claim he is…..tone of arrogance.

What is he wrong about? Geno outside of a 6 game stretch at the beginning of last year is exactly who he said he was.

Our countries current obsession with binary is vs them has caused people to treat anyone who disagrees with them as the enemy and it’s goofy

I hope you’re right about the defense but I’m skeptical. Would love to be proven wrong though

You need to go and review his takes. I admit, happily, when I’m wrong on a player or play, whatever. Fade has a tendency to change his take/view when it doesn’t fit what he wrote previously. This isn’t an attack on, Fade, though it may seem that way. It’s an attack on knowitallism and being defensive when questioned.

I’m sorry, Fade. Kinda breaking the rules here by mentioning your name instead of the OP.

My signature is a direct quote from before the season 2022 started, where you derided my opinion that he was the best quarterback on the roster and could give us league average quarterback play. I then stated their ceiling was around 8-9 wins, which you also stated was a dunk worthy opinion after saying their ceiling was a laughable 5 wins. They proceeded to win 9.

Throughout 2022, you then stated that "Geno is the truth" multiple times. You've since stated that he is regressing to the mean, the mean being about what I said he'd do regardless prior to 2022. You're dunking your own opinions.

As for the bad drafting takes, you created a suboptimal grading platform a few years back to show the ineptitude of the front office, in which your criteria graded Frank Clark as a severe draft demerit because he didn't sign a second contract with the team, ignoring the fact that he played like a star and then recouped capital worth three times his original draft slot.

This has always been a game of sorting through information to confirm a pre-held opinion more than it's been a genuine quest for truth-based, nuanced takes.

Don't care. Just argue against my points.

If they are are so wrong, they should easily be refuted.

How would you rate yourself? I got you at about 1/6 over the years. Batting 166. Pretty sure most here could hit that number. You have the courage to start a thread, most don’t. Admitting when wrong is a whole different dragon.

Even regressed Geno is better than he said Geno would be going into 2022.

Fade does get a lot of unfair criticism, absolutely, but he did a fair amount to egg it on with brash takes presented as if they were irrefutable.

Like, this? This is objectively bad wrong on Geno, even with the regression.

I don't care about the ad hominems, but I think pointing out a record of fairly cherrypicked arguments is more than fair.

Was it fade or someone else that kept posting how well the Broncos drafted as compare to how poorly the Hawks drafted? It was sometime ago, probably 2021 or 2020.
