Mike McGlinchey: We have a good shot to help Russell Wilson get to higher heights than before
Tackle Mike McGlinchey has seen plenty of Russell Wilson over the years, but he's getting a new view of the quarterback this spring.profootballtalk.nbcsports.com
Mike McGlinchey wasn’t good against the pass In sf With Jimmy g. How’s he supposed to protect little habitrail back there scrambling around? Why is he so much in love?
I don't think Wilson is washed. I think Russell had a biblical dose of reality last year coming to the sobering realization that he doesn't know everything, and actually DESPERATELY needs a HC and coordinator to playcall and scheme to his strengths.
And he has that now in Payton, who isn't going to mess around and kiss Russell's ass like Hackett did. He's going to kick Russ's ass, and install an offense and playbook that Russ can run efficiently.
I fully expect a bounce back season for Russ. Maybe not peak Russ, but good to great Russ.
Pete could only get 6-8 out of him his last year. Fifty five sacks, a concussion, prp injections in the shoulder, the hamstring, a knee op, he might not be 2021 Russ, even.
The playbook will fit into Me3's wristband.I don't think Wilson is washed. I think Russell had a biblical dose of reality last year coming to the sobering realization that he doesn't know everything, and actually DESPERATELY needs a HC and coordinator to playcall and scheme to his strengths.

A resurrection is always a possibility, but how does a great coach(?), an improved running game, and improved Oline translate into an improvement in vision and decision making?what if he goes on a heater in Payton’s system?
i really don’t thing it’s that far fetched.
If they get their running game and O line on track and stay healthy, they have the weapons to be successful.
