The point being that you think any talk about Russ making a mistake means the person thinks he's terrible? We get it.

I'm not a new Seahawk fan by the longest possible stretch, but I am new to this group. This thread reminds me having a copy of the National Enquirer placed prominently at the grocery store checkout counter.
I get that every story 'needs' an antagonist to create interest, but when the antagonist is like a long drink of quinine water it just isn't worth the aggravation.
Russel Wilson's body of work is top shelf with best ever to play the game. Criticize that.

You have made your fair share of negative posts in the GD forum and regular forum so its kind of odd for you to start something over this.

Where are you when Wilson calls timeout and 3 post popup saying it might cost us the game,or prevent D post after we blitz and get beat, bad playcalling when we put up 37 on one of the best Ds in the game or my favorite prevent offense rrp punt when it doesnt happen that often. There is plenty of baseless posts that are critical of the team if you want to call them out.

Wilson had two bad plays the batted missed knocked down pass that was intercepted for a pick six and that log ass scramble that he took that deep sack on and should have thrown it away.

Maybe he was too short to spike the ball down and it tipped, the other was him hoping for a guy to get open and retreating and getting his foot grabbed and falling.

Those are on him, but we, well for me accept it as abnormal play because the other 9 out of ten times he makes a positive play, credit him for the positive he also is responsible for the negative when they happen. They just don't happen a lot, you could have Kirk Cousins.

Russ is great. Nobody is perfect. The important thing is that he, and the team around him, can and are overcoming those kinds of errors. I've long held that one thing that distinguishes the great teams from the good and mediocre teams is that they very seldom get beat by one bad play. Hell that 58 yard TD we gave up in the 4th quarter would have deflated a lesser team and allowed Minny to seize the momentum for a comeback. Not our Seahawks. They strap their helmets on and go out and make things right.

The whole team is infused with that never say die, we got that attitude.

Not really, Cousins got 84M fully guaranteed over three years, which means his cap hit for the next two years is only like 2M less than Russell's cap hit.
