Yankees have some good young talent already. Judge, Sanchez, and the smaller dude tore us up the entire series. With Houston and KC being so hot, another hot streak is gonna be needed for the m's real soon.

on a side note i was looking at the 2007 mariners who barely missed the playoffs (the year Hargrove left when we were 12 games over .500) and we collapsed so hard. We were 73-53 and ended the season with only 88 wins. We had a 2-15 stretch. I remember that season but dont remember that 2-15 stretch. Yikes.

Tanaka is a stud. I'm surprised Seattle even bothered starting Iwakuma today against him, especially with Seager and Zunino getting days off. Hard to understand Servais sometimes.

Yeah but the Mariners helped Tanaka out a whole lot too. They just kept swinging at all that crap out of the strike zone.

Tanaka is now 3-0 with a 2.35 ERA against Seattle. Glad we don't have to see him again for another year.

Nick Vincent should only play in games where we are down or up by 4 runs.

this is getting ugly really fast. Texas and Houston can effectively put us away for good.

Vincent should only be used if we are up by 11. Chuck Powell says it all the time. He is a mop up pitcher only. Put him or Cishek in when the games on the line... Well tonight is one of MANY examples. Ship those two far far away from here.

Haha yeah Chuck Powell says it all the time, now he's got me saying it too.

Offense is putting up the runs. vincent and cishek have blown more games than I can count. Yet our fearless leader goes to them time and time again. I don't get it. Release them both as a package deal for a bag of baseballs. Send them to Japan! Just get them as far away from our bullpen as possible.

Out here
Bullpen is a joke. All the while LeBlanc gets DFA'd. He did nothing to deserve that. He pitched his guts out while he was here. Wjhat was the teams record in games he pitched? 8-1? Most were starts. Guaranteed he doesn't clear waivers. Should've been Vincent. Unbelievable. Just unbelievable. I can't believe on saying this, but if Servais and Dipoto want to keep a turd over LeBlanc, then go with Karns. Sheesh, anything is better than Vincent.

If the Mariners have any hope of making the playoffs, it's by winning games like this one EVERY time. Blowing 3 run leads late in games is a great way to piss away your chances. I could be wrong but in the last 3 weeks it seems like MOST of their losses have involved blowing 3 run leads.

I think the slide out of playoff contention is underway.

LeBlanc decision was total shit yet there's Cishek and Vincent sucking the life and the "win" out of yet another game.

Can the Mariners blow yet another 3 run lead against a bad/mediocre team? Up 3-0.
