Felix with only 8 wins in late August. You'd think the M's would be out of the playoff picture but they're not. It's been a strange season. Even during the M's lackluster seasons, Felix would have about 14-15 wins by now.

Keep in mind he was injured and missed a good chunk of the season.

I understand the fustrations over the loss,it sure didn't make me happy but I wish we could have the same posts but positive(s)after the wins. This team is not supposed to be doing this well when you consider how many holes there are with pitching and defense.I hope we go on another good run just because nobody thinks we can and we would be the Miracle Mariners.I honestly do not know how this team stays alive this long but it's fun to see for sure.

Any word yet on who's tomorrow starter will be? It was suppose to be Iwakuma but they want to give him an extra day of rest. Call up Taijuan Walker?

Walker seems like the only option for tomorrow, unless they want to start a reliever, but that would just tax the bullpen.

even if the m's miss the playoffs, i will still consider Dipoto and Servais' first year as a success. Much different culture and attitude than McLOLndon's.

Pretty entertaining game tonight vs NY. Zunio smacks a timely 3-run HR bottom 6th to retake the lead for the Ms, and O'Malley makes an INSANE hustle catch that a fan sitting in the third row could have caught. If you didn't see it, you have to find the replay of it somewhere and watch it! Pretty amazing it wasn't somehow interfered by one or more fans to prevent the catch.

That was an awesome catch. That dude in the sport jacket needed to get out of the way. Love to see players making that extra effort. Good win, especially after yesterday.

How about Cruz's Homerun that broke his bat.
Good win all around despite a shaky ninth by "Fast Eddie".

Great win. That's more like it. And not to sound like a downer again or anything but it just really pisses me off that ESPN and MLB.com have headlines on their front page (even under the mariners section on my ESPN feed) about how the Yanks Sanchez had 2 more home runs today. Nothing about the fact that the mariners won the game. Still have to squeeze out positives even for the losing team. If the yanks won that game, we'd be hearing about it everywhere. But nope, no credit to the M's or Zunino's game winning home run. No "Zunino's blast buries Yanks" or something like that. Biased media is just sad to see in any form. Politics OR sports.

Well, actually, O'Malley pushed him out of the way and basically stole the ball from him.

At least the guy turned around and helped O'Malley up after. :D

Thats MLB/Media of course they have to overhype the Yankees- thats $$$ and if you notice theres a thing on Kobe starting a capital investment firm,he has over 300 million but needs more  Great win by the unknowns!

Over the past 10 games, the Rangers having gone 5-5 while the Mariners 7-3, we've picked up a couple of games.

Everyone is very intently focused on the wild card chase, for good reason I suppose, but I can't wait for Texas here at the end of the month and again the week after. The atmosphere during those two series - those 7 games - will be the closest thing to a playoff-esque atmosphere we as Mariners fans have seen in a long while.

Great game last night. Really happy for Mike Zunino. He is just such a better offensive player. He battled back from 0-2 to get that 3-run HR. Diaz nearly gave it away in the 9th with the balk but he managed to get the job done.

I don't think Cody Martin should start another game. We are in the middle of a playoff race, we need to go with our best arms. Assuming Walker start tonight, I think we are going to find out a lot about him the rest of this season (assuming he stays with the club and doesn't get sent back down). The team needs him more than ever, and Servais/Dipoto basically just sent him a message that it is time to wake up.

Yeah I went to the game, what an awful game to go to. This was a flashback to the old Mariners. They literally got nothing going on offense. It seemed like we were stuck on three hits for like half the game. And Walker was very underwhelming. I don't even know what to make of him. At this point, I'd give him one more start, and if he doesn't produce I'd sent him back down. LeBlanc and Miranda have produced in their starts, Walker hasn't.

I hope the M's win one for you guys one year. I'm a Yankee fan. Hey I live in NY. But I root for Seattle when they are not playing the Yankees. I really hope one day the M's win one for you guys on here.

All of a sudden the Mariners can't hit.

3-3 on the short home-stand. It's too bad we let the Brewers get that last game, 4-2 would have been nice.

Off to go play the White Sox. Sale vs Felix on Friday should be a great matchup. Need to try for 3-1, but I'd be fine with 2-2.
