Pete Carroll is as much his own DC as Bradley is, so hiring someone like Lovie Smith and inviting a power struggle is not something I ever expect him to do on that side of the ball. If Bradley left, the only internal candidate I see right now is Todd Wash, who comes from the exact same background as Bradley and seems primed to be a DC very soon (likely would follow Bradley to be Gus' DC if he isn't promoted in Seattle). I don't believe Norton wants to be a DC (not now anyway), and Richard/Seto aren't ready yet. If Carroll goes outside the organization I could see Bears DB's coach Jon Hoke possibly being a candidate. Hoke served on the same staff with QC and asst. LB's coach Robert Saleh with the Texans previously. Inviting Dan Quinn back, as DC this time, wouldn't shock me either.
