I won’t say it out loud, yall know what I’m saying.

How will you respond, what do you think you will feel about the season, team, and future?

Will you call for heads?
Demand an upgrade in one specific position?

For me:
As the other thread talks about, my preseason expectations have been obliterated.
Hard to complain about anything.

But

Success has raised my expectations they have been elevated to match the current situation, and I’ll be extremely bummed (not unlike you)

However my overall feeling will be that we are a force and the NFL better take notice.
I won’t be mad, and I won’t be looking for anyone to be fired.

My hope will be that we make an upgrade or two, and that we find good replacements for any key players we lose.
I hope we do most of that via the draft, and any veteran additions continue to be as successful as the ones we’ve already been made.

Bottom line, I’ll be sad but certainly not mad.

Can't complain about the results.
No need to call for anyone's head.

There are easy upgrades to make. Even though Shaheed hasn't done a whole lot as a WR, his dual role as WR/Returner has made him more valuable than Kupp. If the Hawks release Kupp and use the $5M they wasted on the WR who didn't even make the team, to re-sign Shaheed, that's an upgrade.

Next year we need to start the season with an upgrade over OL Bradford. Won't be hard to do.

If WR Horton can stay healthy next year that should be an improvement.

Since this is an anti pattern to winning, I will say this, I never expected the Hawks to be NFC 1 seed leave alone NFC West. I will shut up now and be positive. I don’t want to give this thread anymore thought. Hopefully we can close this thread and archive it. Negative thoughts add up, we need fans equally confident and positive and not be just half ass minded at this moment . Thank you for your attention on this matter

I drink plenty, enough that it doesn’t help with this type of stuff.

I drink because I enjoy good beer and Bourbon, I’d never drink to hide from reality.
