I don’t smoke. We don’t need this guy. He has 12 TDs in 4 years. Troy Horton already has 5. He’s going to be a lot better than Shaheed. Saints got two picks for him.

And it might just be me but Shaheed immediately gave me young/pre-broken leg Lockett vibes. They just accelerate and fly with electricity in their veins.

4th and 5th even for a temu version of a young Lockett is worth it.

Especially if the “window” is now, you open it as much as you can, we dont know what happens in the future or if even those picks hit, statistically you are a great team this season, right now, everything is accounted for and working… it might just not be the case next season. We dont know.

I think getting a wide receiver was a really good idea. Right now everything the Seahawks are doing depends completely on JSN not just continuing to stay healthy, but also continuing on his daylight-between-him-and-the-rest-of-the-league tear. And Shaheed appears to be ready to help the Seahawks. So I agree 100% with getting a WR, and even one like Shaheed. I just think a 4th-rounder and a 5th rounder was a really expensive price for what the Seahawks are getting (as @flv2's analysis makes clear), especially considering that the Seahawks are unlikely to get a comp pick for him in the spring, and considering how bare the Seahawks' 2026 draft-pick cupboard is getting.

Meh you know those draft picks pile up with trades... Comp rounds etc... I feel like we are going to get a few this year, as we wont be re signing some of our majors on their year counts

4 and 5 for an explosive WR who has been climbing the ladder seems fairly fine to me honestly. He missed a year after making all pro pro bowl etc. has a literal zero in a QB this year and still tacking on 500 yards and hitting 22 mph on his runs
