And... they found a helmet that fits!
When healthy he is hard to cover downfield.is he worth a 4th and 5th? I'll be honest, don't know much about the dude
Overpaid? Bro, this is John Schneider's third straight trade-deadline highway robbery.I don’t think this trade was necessary, and we overpaid.
Could you share what you’re smoking? Sounds strong afI don’t think this trade was necessary, and we overpaid.

Pure speed and he is an elite downfield WR.
I don’t smoke. We don’t need this guy. He has 12 TDs in 4 years. Troy Horton already has 5. He’s going to be a lot better than Shaheed. Saints got two picks for him.Could you share what you’re smoking? Sounds strong af
Going by the Draft chart the team picking #1 in each round has 4000* points of value, the team picking #32 in each round has 1044* points of value, and a team right in the middle has 1680* points of value. *Give or take plus any compensatory picks. The Seahawks gave up about 66 points of value for Shaheed. It's projected to be about 4.9% of your 2026 Draft and for that you get an upgrade for 9/17ths + playoffs of the 2025 season. Whether he re-signs or the future cap money is used elsewhere doesn't factor into the trade. Spotrac values him at $8.1M and you're paying him 9/17ths of about $4.1M. Even if he signs somewhere else for $9.5M in March it'll only qualify for a 6th round pick around #213, delayed by 1 year.
Enjoy the upgrade.
Moving on.
JSN reacts
Meh you know those draft picks pile up with trades... Comp rounds etc... I feel like we are going to get a few this year, as we wont be re signing some of our majors on their year countsThe Seahawks have close to $80M in cap space for next season, only 40 players under contract for 2026, and only four 2026 draft picks, so there will have to be free-agent signings to fill out the roster, so there ain't gonna be any comp picks.
I think getting a wide receiver was a really good idea. Right now everything the Seahawks are doing depends completely on JSN not just continuing to stay healthy, but also continuing on his daylight-between-him-and-the-rest-of-the-league tear. And Shaheed appears to be ready to help the Seahawks. So I agree 100% with getting a WR, and even one like Shaheed. I just think a 4th-rounder and a 5th rounder was a really expensive price for what the Seahawks are getting (as @flv2's analysis makes clear), especially considering that the Seahawks are unlikely to get a comp pick for him in the spring, and considering how bare the Seahawks' 2026 draft-pick cupboard is getting.
Which so strange because before the season Bobo was the talk of the town...now barely a chirp..what happened?WE have a real three if you ask me.... JSN, Horton, Shaheed..... Kupp can be random slot dude... and Ive ALWAYS Felt Bobo should be a TE... he has no room in the WR room if you ask me
Woah!! Good stuff! My immediate reaction of it being ‘mid’ has since changed.Going by the Draft chart the team picking #1 in each round has 4000* points of value, the team picking #32 in each round has 1044* points of value, and a team right in the middle has 1680* points of value. *Give or take plus any compensatory picks. Love Bobo, but he's a Jag.Which so strange because before the season Bobo was the talk of the town...now barely a chirp..what happened?
Might not have been the highest ranked need overall but….I agree it was a need. But, priority wise, it wasn’t the ranking need.
Also agree that it’s a win.
Well, I hope that turns into a contract. And he told the media he's here to stay. He sure doesn't sound like a "rental" to me.
