Can someone transcribe a little bit for those of us at work that can't listen in?

So far the most newsworthy is that pete reiterated that Harvin is ready to practice but we still don't know if he's goign to be ready to play on sunday and that how he makes it through practice will determine his status

-(paraphrasing a little) "doesn't mean he is definitely going to play Sunday or not, but [Percy] feels he is 100%. He just needs to make it through the practices this week."

He said on the injury front that all 3 of our o-linemen are practicing fully but are still day to day. Also BB is a serious deal and I am getting that he may not be back anytime soon. Jeron Johnson is close, as well as Scruggs. Even Simon may start practicing soon.

Basically 7 guys returning to practice. Bad news for the rest of the NFL...ENJOY my fellow 12's.

Also, Minny leads the league in both kickoff and punt returns.

I have a feeling there will be a lot of kickoff return possibilities for them.

Pretty much everybody is back at practice, Coleman will be a bit limited. Pete's really happy with how the bye week sets up, excited to get guys back and then have them have extra time til the next game after playing a bit Sunday.

He mentioned Scruggs is coming along from his ACL tear, I didn't realize he was even on the PUP list, (I feel like he needs to start practicing by this week if he were to come back, and active by week 15? Not sure on the rules, be pretty cool if he came back though.)

Pete seems intrigued by the whole O-line rotation. Says they've dealt with some much change on the line it practically feels normal. Likes giving guys rest and will help Okung and Giacomini come back slowly, won't play all of Sunday probably even if they are full go. Pete also spoke extremely highly of both Bailey and Bowie. Gotta think Giacomini is sweating it. He talked up both players versatility, Bailey can play 4 spots (not center) and Bowie can play left and right tackle. Talked about how they both had the size and athleticism when they showed up and they have been picking up the mental side of the game well as the season progresses.

Why even bring Scruggs back? Who do you cut for him? Mayowa? That would suck.

I also thought his comment about Jessie Williams was interesting. He basically said he was back in Australia working out and getting better. But that it was going to be a long road back from his injuries. I assume he meant his knees and/or legs were the issue.

I do hope he makes it back as there is real promise with him.

I would be surprised if we see Scruggs this year. We don't really need him and we would be better served letting him fully heal and be ready for next year.

I didn't know Simon was hurt; I just had thought he was way down the depth list. What was his injury?

Yea it's funny, I thought they IR'd Scruggs and Simon.

Pete said Simon was good to practice next week. If he comes active, I see us IR'ing Browner.

Dunno who we dump for Scruggs, McDonald ? He's dropped off a bit lately. Not sure Scruggs is looking ready to play this year, but that would add some key depth and versatility if he does come back.

It was a foot injury from before training camp. He's been on PUP. Never taken the field in Preseason/Regular season.

Browner has 8 weeks until he needs to be back. We need him for the playoffs big time. He will probably be ready before that, but we will not need him the last couple games against trash.

Okay so after a little research to provide some clarity for everyone, DE/DT Gregg Scruggs (ACL tear on right knee, surgery on May 9th, meaning he's had about 6 months recovery time) and CB Tharold Simon (foot injury, rumored stress fracture) are the two players left on the PUP list for the Seahawks.

If on the PUP list, the player must start the practice period by Tuesday (nov 19th) of our bye week it looks like. He then has 21 days until having to be put on the active roster, so week 15 vs the Giants (Dec 10th).

Commencing on the day after the conclusion of the sixth regular season weekend (October 15) and continuing through the day after the conclusion of the 11th regular season weekend (November 19), clubs are permitted to begin practicing players on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform for a period not to exceed 21 calendar days. Pads and helmets are permitted during the 21-day period. At any time during the 21-day practice period, or prior to 4:00 p.m., New York time, on the day after the conclusion of the 21-day period, clubs are permitted to restore such players on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform to their Active/Inactive List.

I'd say this puts it extremely unlikely Scruggs will be back, only being 7 months removed from his ACL tear, but if Browner goes on IR, Simon could still come back to practice and compete with Shead for the spot. If it's gonna happen though it'll have to be by next Tuesday.

Is Scruggs even eligible to return? I thought he was IR'd

The window closes next week. Not sure if there is some sort of exemption because of the Bye. Harvin took the field earlier than Simon and Scruggs, so his deadline was up earlier. I don't know how the Bye affects this rule. It doesn't appear that Scuggs can come off PUP, even if they wanted to as it appears the deadline to return to practice is next week.
