Should be a fun series, keep it rollin boys. Doing the day game on Wednesday, haven't looked to see who the starter is.

Weird name, Brewers, but luckily for them it's not as weird as some teams out there, like Sounders and Kraken.

Wrong, Kraken is an awesome name. I love how many people don't like it :)

When I think of Brewers, I think of Laverne and Shirley

I actually like the Kraken moniker also. And the Sounders, for that matter. Was just making a joke.

Sounders has never struck me as weird. Kraken is extremely jarring, though. Such a bizarre name.

Brewers fits into the Milwaukee pantheon of sports names when you pair it with Packers. Plus, I like beer. I would say it's the Bucks who are sort of the odd name out.

I just have to say it. Major props on last year's trade for Castillo. I can't even imagine life as a Mariner fan without him now. He's the best player on the team, a true number one ace, a total stud on the mound.

And they call strike 3 on Julio again on a ball so far outside it was basically in the other batters box... I've said it before and I will say it until they replace them. The worst thing about baseball are the umpires behind the plate...

Bad pick off on Suarez with a red hot Kelenic at the plate.

Can't Suarez just drop the ball.. force out at 3rd and throw to first?

How do the gm and owner live with themselves with whats going on with the absolute black holes at dh and 2b? They made no move to improve those 2 spots in the offseason and everyone raked them over the coals for it. Now every day that goes by is just a another reminder that they went dirt cheap this offseason when they could have spent 20 mil and had at least league average production. How many games has that cost them so far, 1 or 2? So frustrating.

Agreed. Zero reason for the M's to have the worst 2nd base and DH combo in the league. Unexcusable. I knew letting go of Santana would hurt .

Any word on that pitcher? He was dealing. Then it looked like he said he couldn't catch his breath. Hopefully just pulled something. Our #6 pitcher vs. one of the better pitchers in the league. Not a big shock to lose yesterday. He has a sub 3 ERA the last 3 seasons, and they are sitting at 12-5.
Flexen is basically BAD Batting Practice Marco at this point. Lit up, yet again.
He may have replaced Marco as the pitcher who makes me the most nervous. Oh well, get that W tonight. Can't win em all.

UPDATE on Burns: Peck Strain. Announcers made it sound like he was "out of breathe" so that made it kind of creepy. At least briefly.

Mariners: "we made it to .500! Now we can relax and lose a few games!"
