Nah, they'll be just fine. They lost a baseball game, shit happens. Gonna' get that W tonight.
They didn't win 90 games in back to back seasons by accident.

Hearing Servais say "I have no problem with how flex threw the ball" is pretty ridiculous.
He should have a REAL problem with how he's pitching. Getting lit up in back to back starts.

Flex and Robbie Ray should not be starters any more. Move them to the bullpen. They can only last 1-3 innings.

710 radio just blasted the DH spot as they should and Passan called it "embarrassing".

He's right. It is an embarrassment. We're getting nearly nothing from the DH spot. We'd be better off by a long shot with a Daniel Vogelbach type hitter. A guy that's only going to hit around .200-ish, but has a decent OBP and some pop. The fact that a hitter like that would be a huge upgrade over what we have right now at DH is a disgrace.

And yeah, I don't know what's going on with Wong, but it's time to give Haggerty a shot to be an everyday 2nd baseman. He's younger, faster, more athletic, and at this point couldn't possibly be a worse hitter. Damn I miss Frazier.

Hell, they could have re-signed Haniger, even as injury plagued as he's been. At least we'd know that we had a decent DH when he was able to get on the field.

I knew Wong would be bad. He's on the wrong side of 30, was already showing signs of slowing down on defense, and he was doing the dreaded move from NL to AL... I didn't think he'd be this bad though. I really hope he can turn it around and at least be a decent platoon player once D-Mo gets back.

I said from the very beginning Wong would be terrible & I got blasted here endlessly by a particular cheer leader. I said they didn't ADD any talent during the off-season & didn't get better. They got Wong for Toro & Winker who was total garbage for Seattle. Milwaukee was desperate to move Wong's ridiculous $10mil salary. Wong is not going to hit well for Seattle. I'll keep saying it..... This franchise for the last 20 years is always at the bottom in offense. Nothing different under Jerry DiBozo. He loves these scrubs that absolutely cannot hit. Jerry & Scotty love packing the lineup with Haggerty, LaStella, Murphy, Pollock, Moore, Caballero, Toro, Marmalejos, Hummel, Mallex, etc. They should be ashamed of those 7-9 hitters in the lineup tonight, but of course they aren't. This franchise always goes cheap on offense.

The pit
They let Wong hit in the 9th with the winning run aboard.
He then looks at strike 3 right down the middle.
Sometimes our manager isn’t very good.

I mean, Wong got himself to 3rd, and then got home on a not very deep popup to center. So, like, that's something. Kind of.

Julio just not in the groove yet. Too bad he couldn't get the big hit in extra innings with the bases loaded to win the game. Not quite prime time yet.

It's a worse team for sure. Doubt this line up is the same by the end of May.
