Interesting, I didn't know Manny was one of the early guys at Mac & Jack's. I wonder what Mac & Jack think about him using a very similar recipe? Maybe he helped create M&J's African Amber, so they are just agreeing not to war with each other as long as they both stay a little different? Who knows?

That's the word I heard. He is actually the one who came up with it. Thats what soured things is the story. He wanted a piece when it boomed. Legally, in a lot of cases its theirs if he was employed by them. I know at my work they legally own my ideas. (They won't get far.)

As far as how similar they are it would be intersting to know exactly how many differences there have to be to be legally different. Is a pinch at the end good enough? Or does it have to be a counter clockwise swirl?

I was all braced for lite beer when we went to the Jags game (based on the vendors we'd seen in the 300s at the 49ers game). There was a stall in the central concourse at ground level selling Spire cider that was as dark as stout. It was gorgeous!! However, once I'd reached the bottom of the pint, I realised it had a kick like a mule and I can't remember much of the 2nd quarter... Stuck to water after that! Nice drink though.

EDIT: My point was: stadiums being told by the customers to have a wider range of beverages is a very good thing.

Clink was recently recognized for having best craft beers of any stadium in the US. Not suprising seeings that last week Seattle was best beer city in America on MSN. And when they say beer city US they should just say world.
