He was a great teammate for sure. Just was a flat out rally killer. I called him DP France for much of his final year and a half. If you wanted an inning ending Double Play? He was the guy.
Yeah I was feeling that way about him too but I still believed the old Ty was there and I’m stoked for him that he is finding it again. Just too bad it’s in Minnesota. But Minnesota is struggling now so maybe this all for the good

You're not wrong, but there were several guys on the team at the time that were even worse. A couple of them, much worse. That's why it didn't make much sense to me. I mean, Garver was hitting around .160 at the time. Haniger was hitting around .200. 🤷‍♂️
Even polanco and i admit I didn’t think polanco was gonna be this good now. One reason I am torn on jerry

I hear ya. Just my own opinion, it was time to move on. Just enjoying the players we have.

Rowdy is hitting around .230 now. 🤷

.194, but yeah. At least that's better than the sub .100 both he and Solano were hitting the first few weeks.

I get where the OP is coming from though. We cut a guy that was struggling pretty badly, but now he's not, and at the same time managed to get even worse at 1B than a badly struggling Ty France. Yeah, the team results overall are really good right now, but it sure would be nice to have an at least league average first baseman.

Solano, another guy that doesn't impress me. We don't need a JAG 37-year-old out there, who seems to get a hit about every 10 games.
He's batting .148 and has 8 hits the entire season. We have some good players in the minors who could do a hell of a lot better. Bring someone up.

The M's are a damn good baseball team, but enough with the retread players.

Ty France hitting home runs and knocking in RBI’s for Minnesota…. I love that guy. So disappointed that we gave up on him. We added nothing we changed nothing we just let him go. I like rowdy he’s fun to watch, but I miss Ty France. Damm you Jerry you just don’t care about my feelings…
baseball , to me is much more emotion evoking than football, with regard to attachment to players.

I am a life-long Giants fan and I am still hanging on to bitterness over Brett Butler signing with he the dodgers 1990. I will never forgive him and will not speak his name aloud.

I'll say what the doom and gloomers say about the M's...........talk to me in August.

IF he's still batting in the high 200s, cool. He's a great dude, clearly a good teammate. But just wasn't producing here that last season or so. Rally killer. I hope he kills it this year.

Love the guy. I guess I just don't stress about players who left and how they do on other teams these days. Used to a lot, all it did was piss me off hahahaha
