There is a lot of talk (including from me) that Zack Miller is going to have a big game due to his past in Oakland and the possibility that Az may have problems with him. Could we be overlooking a less obvious probability, one in which rookie Luke Wilson goes off? Here are some reasons for my argument.

-- Pete sounds like ZM isn't really a 100% sure thing, which may mean he is going to be blocking more than catching.
-- Luke has shown some serious promise and speed the few times Russell has dumped it off to him
-- Russell appears to trust Luke's hands a bit more than at the beginning of the year
-- Luke is catching on in how to block but has seemed very comfortable taking a check down and TAKING OFF (man that kid is fast)

could you imagine this team with a legit 2 te spread? we could get kicked out of the league!

Willson.*

It's definitely possible, though. I want to see more passes to Willson. Hell, I want to see more passes to Baldwin and Kearse, too. I guess I just want to see more passes. :)

Has potential to be a good overall TE

We just don't throw to TE's much which is disappointing. Some of that is due to TE's needing to help with pass protection but still, since Bevell got here TE has never been utilized.

Willson made a beautiful 1 - 2 block in the Tenn game. He got a good push on a D lineman, then moved up and out and turned the defensive player outside. I rewatched it 5 times it was so pretty.

I hope we start utilizing him more. He's shown a lot of potential to be a great receiving TE, and he's showing improvement in blocking as well.

YES IVOTUK I kept rewatching that play. I wish he could get his trickery game down so he could do the fake block move like zack did in the endzone.

His blocking is definitely coming around. Now if we could just get the ball to him more often. One thing is certain, Miller is fragile and we need a #2 TE desperately. Speaking of which, anyone know the status of McCoy? He had a huge game against the Card's last fall and would be nice to see him back sometime soon?

Wilson is a promising guy. I certainly hope we see more of him.
