Rapaport says there is a paid Defensive Vet on Seahawks that went in today talking to coaches about- if he was losing his job- on Ian.

Rapaport said it was a DLineman- per Softy.

If Mebane or Bryant is losing his job, it means someone has outplayed him, and that can only be a good thing. But I also think we'd have heard rumblings about it by now from camp reports.

Clemons is more likely to me. I can't think of anyone else it might be.

I heard Big Red came into camp healthy and looks better than he has at any time.

If it's truly a D lineme (as Softy said), who the heck knows.

Mebane would make the most sense...can't imagine it's Big Red as good as he has looked, not to mention he is very unique and important for our defense.

The only one that could realistically push Mebane aside is Williams.

Bryant?

Can't see how Mebane would fear for his job, he was money last season.

I don't see it being Mebane at all. Maybe Big Red, but that even doesn't make sense to me.

My money would be on a paranoid Clemons.

He isn't out there and able to compete and he wants reassurance that he factors into the scheme.

But according to .net, Williams might not even make the team.

I guess I could see Mebane. It sure feels like I'm reading about Jordan Hill a lot.
