Better him than Mike Carey.

This is what I was thinking.

Also Hochuli likes being part of the game and he enjoys the spotlight, makes me a little nervous for a big game like this when you want ref's to stay out of it.

While Mike Carey is undoubtably a major a-hole, the standard of officiating this year has been horrendous. I've yet to see a game that didn't have at least one ridiculously bad call. The Panthers should be 6-5 right now but apparently Luke Kuechly can't be called for a foul even after a flag is thrown.

So the Panthers should've got 2 losses from that game?

The league can't penalize their Defensive poster boy.

He is my fav by far, his crew seems to always call a fair game.

Wow I was thinking about the Kuechly PI that wasn't and the Saints D hit on Matt Ryan that looked a lot like the hit on Brees, the week before....It has been a bad call season....As for Big Guns Edward......I'll take him over Carey and a few other crews.

Different note: Did anybody notice when Gruden ran out of steam last night, Trico was talking and talking and Gruden was just silent....He just couldn't say anything good about either team without repeating himself....

It's been two games in a row where Kuechly got away with big game changing penalties in the end zone. Patriots and Dolphins.

I like Hochuli for MNF.

The Holmy Hawks had like a 2-11 record with him reffing but this is a different era.
