I watched the Pitt/Indy game today, and for all the good things Fields did, he seemed to offset it with a boneheaded play. I don't think it'll be enough for Tomlin to yank him yet, but the leash may have gotten shorter. Maybe we'll get to see some HERO BALL yet!

Compared to what the Steelers have been trotting out there at QB Fields still has the edge. Wilson probably steps in if there is a losing skid knowing Tomlin.

Problem they will have is the same problem every that's existed throughout Russ's career.

If they put him in, they have to be ready to cast aside Arthur Smith's playbook because it will turn into the RW show. And the only time it wasnt (last year) RW was the checkdown king of the NFL.

Depsite the fumble (that wasn't) and the last play, their L wasnt on Fields. Had he not brought them back, they woukdnt have even been in the game. Their O line isnt great, which is another reason I dont think they can go to Russ. At least Fields can work the D with his legs.

The great Russell Wilson"s good at running circles with pass rushers chasing behind?

I wonder what Russ thinks and how he feels watching Geno do what he's doing in Seattle.

Has to sting a bit. Even for a good dude like he is. Im sure he is happy for whstever success the team has, but its gotta hurt some watching the command that Geno has of the offense here.

Geno doesn't drop back , panic and do zoomies . He's patient, has a plan and moves out of necessity. He's a better QB. If Seattle gets the defense figured out when they get back to somewhat healthy, he can lead them to the playoffs and win.

While Fields hasn't been making a lot of mistakes, the Stealers offense has looked line $hit. I think mighty mouse makes his return next Sunday against the Raiders. Get your popcorn ready.
