Sure looks that way. Player likely to be paid a great more though to be an active roster player for the Jets. Never underestimate the power of greed.

Just - Enjoy - The - Suffering, J-E-T-S -Jets Jets Jets.

The story on RB- Khalil Herbert is he terminated his PS contract to sign with Jets active roster.

Well, that sucks. My take on Herbert is that he is good enough to be a RB1/RB2 on a lot of teams and would be a good fit on this team. A level of power and drive like Charbonnet with *some* of Walker's niftiness but not Walker's Warp Drive acceleration and speed. (very few backs have that)

Looks like Schneider and McDonald felt more depth in the trenches was more important than another good RB. That and Herbert didn't beat out Holani when special teams abilities were factored in. Anyone got a different/better take on this?

Can't fault the guy for looking out for his own rice bowl. Not going to label it greed, just business. Hawks couldn't/wouldn't match what the Jets were offering. Guessing that Herbert gave the team the option to match, they didn't, so he terminated the contract to take the Jets offfer. I'd bet Schneider/Front Office did their best to do the right thing by the player, as they never know if he might come back someday by a twist of fate. Good for Herbert and I hope he does well for the J-E-T-S.

J-E-T-S Just Enjoy The Suffering--Love it! Sounds like something Rex Ryan might say.

I guess greed was an overstatement, but there iare reasons why the player has had difficulty hanging on elsewhere. Next man up.

I have faith the FO made a considered decision and the player decided the ultimate direction. Time will tell if the decision made by the team was a mistake.

Thanks kidhawk, working out of the office today, much appreciate your help here.

Maxen Hook was a player that was thought to be a good player when he came out. Sucks about Shane Lemieuux perhaps he was already amaged good before he came here.

Updating.

Thanks kidhawk, always appreciated!!!

Looks like the usual for the last 3 games with the team needing help at DB.

Let's hope these two are enough as the rest of the secondary is looking a tad thin at present.
