This really does suck, it's early though and hopefully Ouzts will be back by game 9.

Thanks kidhawk, greatly appreciated!!!

The team could still promote another player from the PS if so desired.

Updated.

Thanks kidhawk, this clarifies for me the elevation of D'Anthony Bell who was in fact signed to the 53 not just elevated.

By rule both NT-Pili and OT- Knight revert to the PS.

CB Isas Waxter signed to Chargers PS. This is relevent to the Seahawks as he did have some guaranteed dollars in his rookie contract so with the offsets, this will bring back some money to our cap going forward.

Also, CB Darmarion Williams signed to Tampa PS, so I assume he'll spill all our secrets!

IIRC, Williams was getting burned in preseason quite often so if they bring him up to play....it may be a good thing.

If they needed him bad enough to play this week they likely would have signed him to the 53. He’s likely just a temporary space on the PS.

Wow. Gaskin's still around? I'm a UW fan and I didn't even know that. LOL

Seahawks add RB- Myles Gaskin to the PS there will need to be a corresponding move to allow this to happen.

Updating.

There was a corresponding move alright but not by the team. Apparently RB Khalil Herbert terminated his contract. This is per the Seahawks.com transactions page

Thanks kidhawk just noticed that on the transactions page moments ago.

10/01
Terminated (by player) RB Khalil Herbert from the practice squad. Signed RB Myles Gaskin to the practice squad

Really sure there is a story here that we may never find out the whole story about.

Appy, Heard the team has recently had 3 OGs in for tryouts, nothing else about signings except for Brown. If there was signing one of the guys here would nail it quickly as they are incredibly reliable and fast.

The story on RB- Khalil Herbert is he terminated his PS contract to sign with Jets active roster.

Sounds like a possible loophole to the system. If he self terminates here then he’s a free agent and the Jets wouldn’t have to necessarily keep him on the roster for the minimum 3 weeks if they’d just claimed him from our PS.
