Thank you my friend always appreciate your help here.

Updated.

Here's a WIKI on this player who seems to be a jitterbug type. JS always is combing the waiver wires and the castoff pile to find potential talents.

Possible Tyler Lockett type development project.

Quote: "Scott makes good use of his quickness to throw off the timing of cornerbacks in tighter man coverage. His explosiveness, meanwhile, allows him to quickly release against off or zone coverage and eat up cushions. Scott is a smart route runner who does a good job of pressing his stem vertically when he’s able, and has very sharp breaks to work back to the ball after defenders flip their hips. He’s also good at using his body language to deceive defenders on vertical routes as well. Scott will use subtle head or hip fakes to force defenders to turn the wrong way, creating easy separation on post routes, corner routes, or double-moves."

I've normally been an OTC guy, but Spotrac has stepped up it's game with a lot of interesting details. Here's a page that has all the Seahawks contract incentives and a good idea of how many have been achieved.

Really of a mish/mash of stuff. For example, Julian Love gets $500K if he gets 5 interceptions, which is definitely possible assuming he gets back on the field soon ... but picks are kind of a fluky stat and it takes a lot of luck and bad QBs to get more than 2 or 3 a year.

Thanks for that Jville interesting player with a lot of potential upside. Sort of wonder why this young player was released by his last team though scheme may be a critical factor.

Thanks Hawkstorian, please keep up this highly interesting and very specific insight into the Hawks cap. There is a good reason why you have always been and are so sharp at knowing the in and outs of cap calculations.

It helps us all understand the team so much more.

Interesting that there have been no announced PS elevations for this game as yet.

Thank you kidhawk as ever you are right on the ball.

it would appear that the DB group will still be shorthanded .

Am suspecting as well that we won't see Witherspoon either.

Perhaps, or maybe we still have concerns about Riqs quality of play? I mean Griffin wasn’t amazing last week but Riq has looked worse a lot of the season.

Yep, disappointed we didn’t see ‘Spoon but thankfully the bye is here and the players close to returning may just be ready to rock n’ roll against AZ when the next game happens. I want to see Love back as well.

I believe there will be some major roster changes as the team comes back fro the bye.Time will tell.

Good time to try and move Woolen, he had a decent game last night, throw Bradford in for a two for one trade and get a Gaurd, he was embarrassing last night, we have depth at CB and I doubt Woolen stays here after this season anyway.

Inclined that way myself on Woolen and would say that generally I've been underwhelmed with the running of Walker and think we could find a speed runner who doesn't always run backwards when faced with no hole to run into.

The bye is likely to bring the team some fresh faces with returns from IR and injury and possible trades.

The Seahawks have a good team but there are serious questions surrounding the running game and the O. Seems every game now there is at least one brain dead play that costs the team a valuable possession. Regrettably turnover Sam needs to concentrate more on holding onto the ball or trying to throw a bit higher.

Sure does look like we’ll be getting Ouzts back before long.

He’ll come back as a TE but get used as a run blocker which he truly excels at.

I have a couple of theories on the Saubert move.

1) It is about Ouzts but only in the sense that if he comes of IR before this weekend his weekly pay doesn't ding him for being on IR. The Seahawks have been generous this year in getting fringe guys a chance to earn a little more and this would be another chance to do that.

2) Saubert had something in his contract that is preventing them from getting the minimum salary benefit and they need him to sign a new deal. It's also possible they're giving him a bonus by letting him keep his full salary for the year AND sign a new contract which is essentially giving him a raise this year as a reward for not sucking.

We can narrow it down once we see what the next corresponding next move is (activing Ouzts or re-sign Saubert).
